Online Education can be more affordable than Traditional Education

Online Education is a type of education where the learner and the tutor are not in any real classroom but are connected through the Internet. In such an education, lessons, coursework, and assessments take place via electronic media. Even this has several forms: pre-recorded lectures, live video sessions, discussion forums, interactive assignments, and exams being conducted remotely.

It provides the flexibility in learning characteristics of online education, whereby students can access course materials whenever it may best suit their schedule. The explanation of traditional education can be further elaborated: learning in a conventional mode in the classroom environment, physically present with teachers and students interacting directly or face-to-face. It is usually structured, following some specific curriculum, by an instructor in real time. All timings of classes are scheduled within one setting; timings are fixed, and everything is formalized with textbooks, libraries, labs, and other on-campus resources.

Traditional education involves the students attending schools, colleges, or universities to carry out activities such as lectures, group discussions, practicals, and tests. Personal interaction is possible in this methodology; group learning takes place and direct interaction between the student and teachers takes place.
